Modern society frequently unites people through a shared sense of aversion, where belittling a common target becomes the simplest shortcut to establishing rapport. While confronting this uncomfortable reality in myself, I recognised how seamlessly this collective hostility permeates our daily lives.
As a solo film project, I led the entire visual and narrative pipeline to bring this observation to life. By translating this psychological pattern into a structured cinematic piece, the film candidly addresses the subtle cowardice embedded in human connections.
현대 사회에서는 공통의 대상을 깎아내림으로써 친밀감을 형성하는 일이 빈번하게 일어납니다. 타인을 향한 집단적 혐오가 공감대를 형성하는 가장 쉬운 수단이 되기 때문입니다. 제 안의 이러한 모습을 직시하는 과정에서, 이 비겁하고도 씁쓸한 현상이 우리 일상에 얼마나 깊이 스며 있는지 시각화하고자 했습니다.
1인 독립영화 프로젝트로서, 저는 이 주제의식을 화면에 구현하기 위해 기획부터 연출, 촬영, 편집, 색보정에 이르기까지 전 과정을 혼자 주도했습니다. 날카로운 시각적 연출을 통해 인간관계에 내재된 은밀한 비겁함을 정직하게 직시하는 작품을 완성했습니다.
